Healthcare

A second federal judge has declared the Health Reform Act signed into law by President Obama as unconstitutional. Said judge agrees that the healthcare system needs to be reformed but this act over reaches and so is unconstitutional.

Well I'm glad that he can say that the system needs to be reformed but come on, we've all known this for decades!  I personally am frustrated with hearing 'something needs to be done' but not enough people focusing on what this 'something' needs to be. It seems that all the energy and focus is on what we don't want rather than what we do want; a lot of the conversation on healthcare is focused on reacting to proposed changes rather than proposing what you would like in a proactive manner. It's time to get a little solution-focused, no? It might take a while, it will definitely be messy (although hopefully not as hate fueled as this last round) but it needs.to.be.done.

Some great links to visit regarding healthcare reform in America. It needs to happen.

What do you think? Is the law unconstitutional? Should healthcare reform be a top priority for lawmakers?
